Privacy Policy
PDF Hazır: Scanner & Compress · Last updated: October 31, 2026
In short: The documents you scan and convert never leave your phone. You don't need an account; we don't ask for your name, email or phone number. The ad and purchase services in the app (Google and RevenueCat) only process the technical information they need to work; details are below.
1. Data controller
This policy applies to the PDF Hazır mobile app (the “App”). Data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): Tuberk Aras. Contact: tugberkaras06@gmail.com
2. Your documents and photos
- Scanning, PDF creation, compression, merging, ID copies, the receipt archive, text recognition (OCR), conversion, signatures, watermarks, ID photos (face detection and background whitening), CVs, petitions and application lists all happen on your phone. Your documents, photos and recognized text are never uploaded to any server; we can't access them.
- Documents are stored only in the App's own storage. They are excluded from iCloud backup and Android cloud backup, so if you delete the App, or switch phones and restore from a cloud backup, your documents are gone too. We recommend keeping important documents elsewhere with “Save to Files” or “Share”.
- Signatures you draw are stored only on your phone, in the App's own storage; you can delete them at any time in Settings → My signatures.
- The details you enter for CVs and petitions (such as your name, address, phone, email, ID number, work and education history and CV photo) are stored only on your phone, in the App's own storage, and are never sent anywhere. You can remove them by clearing the fields or deleting the App.
- For ID photos, the face in the photo you take or choose is analyzed on your phone to crop it to size and check the rules. Face data is not stored, no identification (finding out who you are) is performed, and nothing is sent anywhere.
- When you send a document with “Share”, it is passed to the app you choose (e.g. email, WhatsApp); from then on, that app's privacy rules apply.
3. Permissions
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Camera | To scan documents and receipts, capture IDs and take ID photos. Used only when you start it. |
| Photos / Gallery | To add the photos you choose. Only the photos you select are accessed. |
| Files | To open the PDF and Office files you choose and save the files you create where you want. |
Permissions such as location, contacts or microphone are not requested. On iPhone, the “App Tracking Transparency” permission is not requested.
4. Settings kept on your phone
Small settings such as your theme and language, whether the intro was shown, your free usage allowances (e.g. daily merge, signed documents and ID photos) and your application lists are stored only on your phone.
5. Third-party services
| Service | Purpose | Information processed |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob (ads) | Ads in the free version: a full-screen ad after an action is completed and a banner on the home screen. Premium users see no ads. | Non-personalized ads are requested. To show ads, limit their frequency, prevent fraud and measure them, Google may process information such as your IP address, device and app information, ad interactions and (on Android) the advertising ID. Users in the European Economic Area are shown Google's consent dialog when required. Details: How Google uses information from partner sites. |
| RevenueCat (purchases) | Verifying Premium subscriptions and purchases, “Restore purchases”. | A randomly generated anonymous app user ID, purchase records (product, date, status), device and app version. Your name, email or card details are not sent to RevenueCat. Details: RevenueCat Privacy Policy. |
| Apple App Store / Google Play | Taking payments and managing subscriptions. | Your payment details are processed only by Apple or Google; we can't see them. |
| Google ML Kit (text recognition, face detection, person segmentation, document scanner on Android) | Reading the date/amount from receipts, “Extract text”, converting scanned pages to Word; finding and cropping the face and whitening the background in ID photos; camera scanning on Android. | Processing happens on your phone; document images, photos and recognized text are not sent. Google may collect technical usage information that contains no document content (e.g. device model, processing time) to monitor the service's operation and performance. |
We have no analytics or crash reporting tool of our own.
6. Transfers of personal data
The servers of the service providers above may be located abroad (e.g. the US and Europe). Such transfers take place only as needed to provide the service and in line with those providers' agreements and policies.
7. Retention
Documents and settings stay on your phone until you delete them or uninstall the App. Information held by third-party services is kept for the periods set out in their policies.
8. Children
The App is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
9. Your rights
Under KVKK (Article 11) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, request information, learn the purpose, know who it is shared with, ask for correction or deletion, object and claim compensation. Because your documents are only on your phone, you can delete them yourself in the App. For other requests, write to tugberkaras06@gmail.com; we reply within 30 days. For data held by the ad and purchase services, you can also contact the relevant provider.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will announce important changes in the App or on its store page; the current version is always on this page.
